Project Implementation Manual. The Recipient, through the PCU, shall: (i) take all action required to carry out Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4 (ii) of the Project in accordance with the provisions and requirements set forth or referred to in the Project Implementation Manual; (ii) submit recommendations to the Association for its consideration for changes and updates of the Project Implementation Manual as they may become necessary or advisable during Project implementation in order to achieve the objective of Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4(ii) of the Project; and (iii) not assign, amend, abrogate or waive the Project Implementation Manual or any of its provisions without the Association’s prior agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any of the provisions of the Project Implementation Manual is inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail and govern.
Project Implementation Manual. 1. The Recipient shall adopt a Project Implementation Manual in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, containing detailed arrangements and procedures for: (a) institutional coordination and day-to-day execution of the Project; (b) Project budgeting, disbursement and financial management;
Project Implementation Manual. (a) The Recipient shall ensure that the Project is carried out in accordance with the Project Implementation Manual.
(b) The Recipient shall not amend, abrogate, waive or otherwise modify the PIM, or permit the PIM or any provision thereof to be amended, abrogated, waived or otherwise modified, except with the prior written agreement of the Association. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the PIM and those of this Agreement or the Project Agreement, the latter two agreements shall prevail.
Project Implementation Manual. (a) The Recipient shall prepare and adopt a manual, in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, outlining, inter alia, financial management, procurement, disbursement arrangements, monitoring arrangements for the Project, guidelines for the eligibility, preparation and implementation of the Subprojects, including the financial management manual, procurement manual, community financial management and procurement handbook (“Project Implementation Manual”).
(b) The Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the Project Implementation Manual (provided, however, that in case of any conflict between the arrangements and procedures set out in the Project Implementation Manual and the provisions of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail) and, except as the Association shall otherwise agree in writing, shall not amend, abrogate or waive any provision of the Project Implementation Manual.
Project Implementation Manual. (a) The Recipient shall carry out the Project, or cause the Project to be carried out in accordance with the arrangements and procedures set out in the Project Implementation Manual (provided, however, that in case of any conflict between the arrangements and procedures set out in this manual and the provisions of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail).
(b) Except as the World Bank shall otherwise agree in writing, the Recipient shall not amend, abrogate or waive any provision of the said manuals.
Project Implementation Manual. The Borrower shall carry out the Project in accordance with procedures set out in the Project Implementation Manual and, except as the Association shall otherwise agree, shall not amend or waive any provision thereof, if such amendment or waiver may, in the opinion of the Association, materially or adversely affect the implementation of the Project.
Project Implementation Manual. The Recipient shall ensure that the Project is carried out in accordance with the Project Implementation Manual and shall not amend or waive any provision of the Project Implementation Manual without the Association’s prior written agreement. In the event of any inconsistency between the provisions of the Project Implementation Manual and this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall govern.
Project Implementation Manual. 1. No later than three (3) month after the Effective Date, the Recipient shall prepare and adopt, in accordance with terms of reference acceptable to the Association, a Project implementation manual (“Project Implementation Manual” or “PIM”) containing detailed arrangements and procedures, satisfactory to the Association, including, inter alia: (a) the different roles and responsibilities in the implementation of the Project, including the various mechanisms for ensuring close coordination and collaboration between various Project stakeholders; (b) Project budgeting, disbursement and financial management; (c) procurement; (d) monitoring, evaluation, reporting and communication; (e) environmental and social management; (f) the modalities for handling Personal Data collection and processing in accordance with applicable national law and good international practice; (g) safeguards aspects; (h) criteria for the purchase of Seeds, Livestock and Agricultural Inputs under Parts 3(b)(v) and 3(b)(vii) of the Project and for the selection of the Eligible Agricultural Beneficiaries to which Seeds, Livestock and Agricultural Inputs would be distributed; (i) template form of the Agricultural Agreement; (j) the procedures and eligibility criteria governing the LIPW to LIPW Beneficiaries and under Part 2(c)(i)(B) of the Project; (k) the template form of the LIPW Agreement; (l) the list of Excluded Activities; (m) modalities of the community solidarity chain support under Part 3(b)(v) of the Project; and (n) such other administrative, financial, technical, institutional and organizational arrangements and procedures as shall be required for the Project.
2. The Recipient shall afford the Association a reasonable opportunity to review and approve the PIM, and shall thereafter adopt such manual as it applies to the Project overall implementation; as shall have been approved by the Association
3. The Recipient shall not amend, abrogate, waive, or permit to be amended, abrogated, or waived, the aforementioned PIM, or any provision of either one thereof, without the prior written consent of the Association.
4. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the PIM and those of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail.
