It is the intent and purpose of this Collective Agreement to: a) Establish collective bargaining relations between the Employer and the Union; b) Provide an orderly procedure for the equitable disposition of grievances; c) Establish mutually satisfactory working conditions, hours of work and wages for all employees who are subject to the provisions of this Collective Agreement; d) Encourage efficiency in operations; and e) Recognize the rights of the Employer and the functions of the Union.
