Intention of the Parties Definitions. 1.1 Intention of the Parties (a) This Agreement sets out the terms on which J.▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ will provide custodial, settlement, asset servicing and other associated services to the Customer. J.▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ will be responsible for the performance of only those duties expressly set forth in this Agreement. The terms and conditions of this Agreement are applicable only to the services which are specified in this Agreement. (b) Investing in Financial Assets and cash in foreign jurisdictions may involve risks of loss or other burdens and costs. The Customer acknowledges that J.▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ is not providing any legal, tax or investment advice in connection with the services under this Agreement and that Customer remains responsible for assessing and managing investment-related exposures arising out of Country Risk. Accordingly, J.▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ will not be responsible for any Liabilities resulting from Country Risk.
