Common use of Interconnection Customer Operational Requirements Clause in Contracts

Interconnection Customer Operational Requirements. (a) Pursuant to Article 9.4 of the GIA, the Interconnection Customer shall operate the Generating Facility and the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities in accordance with the ISO Tariff; NERC and the Applicable Reliability Council requirements; and Applicable Reliability Standards. (b) The Generating Facility shall be operated so as to prevent or protect against the following adverse conditions on the Distribution Provider’s electric system: inadvertent and unwanted re-energizing of a utility dead line or bus; interconnection while out of synchronization; overcurrent; voltage imbalance; ground faults; generated alternating current frequency outside permitted safe limits; power factor or reactive power outside permitted limits; and abnormal waveforms.
