Interconnection Studies Sample Clauses
The Interconnection Studies clause defines the process and requirements for evaluating the technical feasibility and impacts of connecting a new facility or project to an existing utility grid or network. Typically, this clause outlines the steps for conducting studies such as feasibility, system impact, and facilities studies, specifying the responsibilities of each party, timelines, and cost allocation. For example, a renewable energy developer seeking to connect a solar farm to the grid would undergo these studies to assess potential effects on grid stability and necessary upgrades. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all interconnections are safe, reliable, and do not adversely affect the existing system, thereby managing risk and clarifying the obligations of all involved parties.
Interconnection Studies. Seller has provided Buyer with true and complete copies of all Interconnection Studies received by Seller for the Generating Facility after the date that is 24 months before the Effective Date.
Interconnection Studies. Owner represents and warrants that, as of the Effective Date, (i) Owner has submitted and will continue to submit all information requested by NYISO and the Transmission Owner for Interconnection Studies for the Project, and (ii) it has submitted and maintained an application for Energy Resource Interconnection Service and Capacity Resource Interconnection Service sufficiently sized to enable delivery of the Project’s output to the Interconnection Point to enable delivery of Products from the Project. Owner covenants that it will comply with all of the interconnection requirements contained in the NYISO Tariff, applicable requirements of the Transmission Owner, and the Interconnection Agreement.
Interconnection Studies. Seller shall be responsible for all fees and costs associated with interconnecting the Project to the T&D Provider’s electric system, including (if applicable) the following:
(i) Funding for any apparatus, modifications, and upgrades to the T&D Provider’s electric system, the CAISO Controlled Grid or, if applicable, Affected System (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) that are required at or beyond the Interconnection Point to accommodate the Project’s output (“Network Upgrades”) (any refund of such fees and costs will be consistent with the CAISO Tariff);
(ii) All costs (including interconnection costs and transmission losses) arising from, relating to or associated with transmission of electric energy from the Project to the T&D Provider’s system or the CAISO Controlled Grid.
Interconnection Studies. The Interconnection Feasibility Study, the System Impact Study, and the Facilities Study described in Part IV and Part VI of the Tariff.
Interconnection Studies. Cooperative may perform interconnection studies, which shall include service study, coordination study, and utility system impact study, as needed and determined in the sole discretion of the Cooperative. In instances where such studies are deemed necessary, the scope of such studies shall be based on the characteristics of the particular distributed generation facility to be interconnected and the Cooperative’s distribution system at the specific proposed location. Cooperative may charge Member fees for Pre-Interconnection Studies that recover the costs of performing such studies. Any modifications or additions to the Cooperative’s Electric system identified through the interconnection study as required for the safe and reliable interconnection of Member’s facility shall be solely at the Member’s expense. Member shall not acquire any ownership in such modifications or additions to Cooperative’s electric distribution system.
Interconnection Studies. The Interconnection studies and reports identified on Schedule 6.16.
Interconnection Studies. The Contractor herby covenants and agrees to perform the Work in accordance with any connection impact or system impact studies prepared in relation to the B▇▇▇ from time to time by the Owner or the IESO as applicable.
Interconnection Studies. Owner represents and warrants that, as of the Effective Date, (i) Owner has submitted and will continue to submit all information requested by NYISO and the Transmission Owner for Interconnection Studies for the Project, and (ii) it has submitted and maintained an application for Energy Resource Interconnection Service (ERIS) and Capacity Resource Interconnection Service (▇▇▇▇) sufficiently sized to enable delivery of the Project’s output to the Interconnection Point to enable delivery of Products from the Project. Owner covenants that it will comply with all of the interconnection requirements contained in the NYISO Tariff, applicable requirements of the Transmission Owner, and the Interconnection Agreement. Interconnection Cost Allocation. Owner shall be solely responsible for payment of all Interconnection Costs allocated to Owner under the Interconnection Agreement.
