Internal Applicants. a) In considering internal applicants for a posted vacancy, the Employer shall take into account the qualifications, skill, ability, and experience of the individual as it relates to the specific job for which the selection is being done. b) Where qualifications, skill, ability, and experience of the candidates are relatively equal with respect to the requirements of the job as described in the job posting, seniority shall be the deciding factor. c) All employee applicants will be notified in writing whether or not their application was successful. A copy of the successful notification will also be posted on the notice board in the Employer’s premises and will indicate the accumulated seniority of the successful applicant. d) Seniority shall be measured as of the date of the day of the closing of the posting.
