Common use of Internal Resolution Clause in Contracts

Internal Resolution. (a) In the first instance, the parties to the dispute must try to resolve the dispute at the workplace level, by discussions between the employee(s) and/or union and relevant managers and/or agency CEO. (b) If discussions at the workplace level do not resolve the dispute, a party to the dispute may refer the matter to the Commissioner for resolution. The referral should be in writing. The Commissioner will work with the parties to the dispute and attempt to resolve the matter as soon as reasonably practicable.
