Common use of Internal Substitute Pay Clause in Contracts

Internal Substitute Pay. Any teacher who assumes responsibility for another teacher's class shall be paid at the rate of thirty- seven dollars and ninety-five cents ($37.95) for the 2019-2020 school year, thirty-nine dollars and nine cents ($39.09) for the 2020-2021 school year, forty dollars and twenty-six cents ($40.26) for the 2021-2022 school year, and forty-one dollars and forty-seven ($41.47) cents for the 2022-2023 school year. Any teacher covering the class or other assignment of one (1) or more other teachers in addition to covering his/her own assignment ("double duty subbing") shall be paid at the same rate as a teacher who substitutes during his/her preparation period. All internal substitutes shall earn one (1) period of pay per assignment covered.
