Common use of Joint Labor/Management Committees Clause in Contracts

Joint Labor/Management Committees. During the term of this MOU, a joint labor/management committee will be established, comprised of four (4) Union Stewards, one (1) Business Agent, and Department management. The purpose of this committee will be to discuss concerns including training, cross-training, use of Part-Time employees, workload, etc. These meetings will be scheduled depending on necessity, anticipated to be quarterly. A joint labor/management committee shall also meet and confer on the City’s proposed changes to the Employer-Employee Relations Resolution, as well as proposed legally required updates to the City of Fontana’s Personnel Rules & Regulations.
