Common use of Joint Relations Committee Clause in Contracts

Joint Relations Committee. 12.01 The Board and the C.E.I. shall establish a Joint Relations Committee for the purpose of considering matters pertaining to or arising out of this Agreement and any matter that affects union-management relations including staffing issues. 12.02 Any matter which is of concern to either party to this Agreement may be the subject of discussion at scheduled Joint Relations Committee meetings. Meetings will be held monthly during the school year unless mutually agreed to cancel. Additional meetings may be arranged as mutually agreed. 12.03 This committee does not in any way form part of the grievance or arbitration procedure set forth in this Agreement and no matter which is the subject matter of the grievance or arbitration procedure shall in any event be the subject of discussion at a meeting of this committee.
