Common use of LANGUAGE VERSION Clause in Contracts

LANGUAGE VERSION. The Customer hereby confirms that the Bank has explained to him and he has received and read these Specific Terms in a language of his choice (English or Chinese) and that the Customer understands and accepts their terms. In the event of discrepancy between the Chinese version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.

The Customer hereby confirms that the Bank has explained to him and he has received and read the English and Chinese versions of these Specific Terms in a language of his choice (English or Chinese) and that the Customer understands and accepts their terms. In the event of discrepancy between the Chinese version and the English version, the version elected by the Customer as advised to the Bank in writing as the governing version shall prevail. In case the Customer has not made any election, the English version shall prevail.
