Common use of Laws and Standards Clause in Contracts

Laws and Standards. a) The Contractor shall comply with all laws and regulations that are relevant to its obligations in the countries where the Deliverables are designed, manufactured and shipped from, as well as in the countries where the Deliverables are to be packed, transported, stored, delivered, installed and used. The relevant laws and regulations include (without limitation) those relating to the manufacture, assembly, handling, transport, storage, packaging and delivery of the Deliverables, as well as laws and regulations relating to health, safety and environment. b) Upon request of TenCate, the Contractor shall communicate to TenCate all relevant information that will enable TenCate to identify the origin, place and date of manufacture of each of the Deliverables, in addition to the serial or batch numbers.
