The "Laws and Standards" clause establishes that the parties to an agreement must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the contract's subject matter. The Contractor shall provide the Works in accordance with all standards, codes and specifications applicable to the Works and/or the Project which an experienced contractor would be expected to comply with and shall comply with all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations applicable to the Contractor’s obligations under the Contract, the Project, Works and/or the Deliverables and shall not cause UNICEF to breach any applicable law.

Laws and Standards. 4.1 The Seller assures that the contract goods delivered hereunder are in compliance with all laws and regulations (including regulations promulgated by relevant local electric power utilities or service providers of power grid, which are relevant to the connection between wind farms or contract goods and power grid) and relevant standards set out in Technical Specifications. Should there be absent of applicable standards, the official standards of the country of origin of the contract goods shall be adopted.
