LEAD BUILDING SERVICE WORKER. There shall be a classification known as Lead Building Service Worker. The Lead Building Service Worker in addition to the duties of a Building Service Worker will perform such additional duties as might be assigned to a lead man under normal industrial practice. On a shift when the Head Building Service Worker is not working, there shall be a Lead Building Service Worker. The Lead Building Service Worker differentials are listed in Appendix B: Wage Rate Schedule.

  • Building Services Labor Law Article 9 applies to Contracts for building service work over $1,500 with a public agency, that: (i) involve the care or maintenance of an existing building, or (ii) involve the transportation of office furniture or equipment to or from such building, or (iii) involve the transportation and delivery of fossil fuel to such building, and (iv) the principal purpose of which is to furnish services through use of building service employees.
