Learning Environments. 8.4.1.1. The School Division has been and continues to be committed to providing the best possible learning environment for its students. The School Division and its teachers acknowledge and recognize that the following factors have significant impacts on the learning environments in schools: 8.4.1.1.1. School-based decision-making; 8.4.1.1.2. The numbers of students teachers must teach and their individual learning needs; 8.4.1.1.3. Classroom and other resources, both staff and materials; and 8.4.1.1.4. Time required to fulfill teaching and voluntary tasks. 8.4.1.2. Given that long term educational goals are critical to the School Division and its teachers, wherever and whenever feasible, the School Division will use whatever resources it has available to promote excellence in education.
