Lease Restrictions. (This section pertains to nondevelopment leases only. A nondevelopment lease is identified by the prefix N in front of the Lease Number shown on page 1 of this document.) 1. All other provisions of this Lease notwithstanding, it is understood that no exploration or development work shall be conducted on the surface of the land described in this Lease without reclassification and/or the specific authorization of the Lessor. Reclassification or such authorization for this Lease or any portion of the lands contained herein will be granted at the sole discretion of the Lessor. 2. No operations shall be conducted until written instructions for the proper protection of any and all natural resource interests and/or surface values are issued by the Lessor.
