Leave Conditions. 1. Approved leaves without pay shall be deducted from the employee’s salary at the daily rate of the employee on the day of absence. 2. An employee who misrepresents or misuses accumulated leave time will have said salary reduced by the employee’s daily rate for each day misrepresented or misused and be subject to appropriate disciplinary action. 3. Employees under suspension or subject to dismissal proceedings forfeit claim to compensation under Article XI,c (retirement pay). 4. In cases subject to Worker’s Compensation Law, such leave may be used to supplement the compensation benefit received so that the total amount paid an employee will equal but not exceed the regular salary for the period of absence from the employee’s assignment.
