Common use of Leaves from the Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Leaves from the Bargaining Unit. If a Member leaves the bargaining unit in order to assume an administrative position he/she may return to his/her appointment without loss of any rights under the Collective Agreement that he/she would have acquired had he/she not taken leave. Each leave should be limited to a maximum of five (5) years, renewable once.
