Lecturer Faculty have had Non-Regular Teaching appointments and have taught the equivalent of sixty percent or more for five consecutive years from the beginning of the 2001-2002 academic year, are hired on an annual per-course basis, with commensurate teaching and student consultation, provide service to the Institute, but have no requirement regarding professional practice/research.
