LEED Certification. Evaluation by a licensed third-party professional of a building’s adherence to sustainability standards established through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, a program developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. Certification is obtainable at four levels: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
