Length of Right Sample Clauses

The "Length of Right" clause defines the duration for which a particular right, such as a license, option, or contractual privilege, remains in effect. Typically, this clause specifies a fixed term (for example, five years) or ties the right's duration to certain events, such as the completion of a project or the occurrence of a milestone. By clearly stating how long a party may exercise a right, this clause ensures both parties understand the temporal limits of their obligations and entitlements, thereby preventing disputes over when rights begin and end.
