Common use of Level Two Clause in Contracts

Level Two. a. If the aggrieved party is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision has been rendered within five (5) school days after presentation of the grievance he/she may file the grievance in writing (Grievance form attached to back of the agreement (Appendix C) may be used as written notification) simultaneously with the Association President or designee and the Principal within ten (10) school days after the decision at Level One or fifteen (15) school days after the grievance was presented, whichever is sooner. b. Within five (5) school days after receipt of the written grievance by the Principal the Principal will meet with the aggrieved party and his/her representative from the Association in an effort to resolve it.

Level Two. a. i. If the aggrieved party person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision has been rendered within five (5) school days after presentation discussion of the grievance grievance, he/she may file the grievance in writing (Grievance form attached to back of the agreement (Appendix C) may be used as written notification) simultaneously with the Association President or designee and the Principal school principal within ten (10) school days after of the decision at Level One or fifteen (15) school days after the response. The grievance was presented, whichever is soonerform can be found in Appendix C of this Agreement. b. ii. Within five (5) school days after receipt of the written grievance by the Principal principal, the Principal principal will meet with the aggrieved party and his/her representative from the Association person in an effort to resolve it. The principal shall submit his/her decision in writing to the aggrieved person within five (5) days after the meeting.
