Liability and Termination of Incident Response Support Clause Samples

The 'Liability and Termination of Incident Response Support' clause defines the responsibilities and limitations of each party regarding legal liability during and after the provision of incident response services, as well as the conditions under which such support may be ended. Typically, this clause outlines the extent to which the service provider is liable for damages or losses arising from their incident response actions, and specifies scenarios—such as breach of contract, completion of services, or mutual agreement—where support may be terminated. Its core function is to allocate risk between the parties and provide clear guidelines for ending the support relationship, thereby reducing uncertainty and potential disputes.
