Common use of Liability Exclusions Clause in Contracts

Liability Exclusions. Subject to the clause entitled Liability - Inclusions below, neither: (a) Customer, Customer Affiliates and Participating Entities; nor (b) Verizon and Verizon Affiliates, will be liable to the others for any indirect and/or consequential loss and, whether direct or indirect, for any: (i) loss of revenue and/or profit; (ii) loss of savings, including anticipated savings; (iii) loss of contract, sales and/or business; (iv) loss or corruption of data (except that arising following a breach of the Clause entitled Personal Data); (v) loss of goodwill and/or damage to reputation; (vi) wasted expenditure; and (vi) special, incidental, exemplary and/or punitive damages.
