Liability to the public Clause Samples

The 'Liability to the public' clause defines the responsibilities and obligations of a party regarding harm or damages caused to third parties as a result of their actions or omissions. Typically, this clause outlines the extent to which a party must compensate or indemnify members of the public for injuries, property damage, or losses arising from the performance of a contract or business operations. Its core function is to allocate risk and ensure that affected third parties have a clear avenue for recourse, thereby protecting both the public and the contracting parties from unforeseen liabilities.
