LIBRARY USE Sample Clauses

The Library Use clause defines the terms under which individuals or organizations may access and utilize the resources and facilities of a library. Typically, it outlines permissible activities such as borrowing materials, using study spaces, or accessing digital resources, and may specify eligibility requirements like membership or residency. By establishing clear guidelines for acceptable use, this clause helps ensure fair access, protect library assets, and maintain an environment conducive to learning and research.
LIBRARY USE. Students may use the library during unscheduled time, before the beginning of the school day, during lunch break, or with a pass from a teacher.
LIBRARY USE. Libraries and Media Centers shall be maintained as resource and learning centers, not as classrooms, other than for classes involving the use of media center materials. Students shall not be assigned to the library for disciplinary reasons.
LIBRARY USE. The library is intended to provide a positive, comfortable learning environment to meet the classroom needs of students and staff and to provide them an opportunity to pursue their own interests independently. In a world of continuous change, the library maintains a position as the information and communication center of the school. The library staff is always glad to be of assistance to anyone who needs help while using the library. Hours are from 7:30 – 3:30 p.m. daily. Students using the library are asked to be considerate of others. Individual students coming to the library from their classrooms are required to have a signed pass from the classroom teacher and sign-in upon arrival. The library includes over twenty thousand volumes, as well as newspapers and magazines. Most materials circulate for two weeks and can be renewed. Fines will be charged for overdue and lost materials in the amount of $0.10 per day to a maximum of $3.00 for late materials and the price of replacement for lost materials. Emails are sent out to students each Friday to let them know about late materials or fines. Other services offered include copying, printing, interlibrary loan and use of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Die-Cutting machine.
LIBRARY USE. Article 14, Section 12 of the main contract shall not apply for Niles Community High School.
LIBRARY USE. Article 14.12 of the main contract shall not apply for ▇▇▇▇ College and Career High School.
LIBRARY USE. Perth South acknowledges and agrees that the Kirkton Branch of the Huron County Library (the “Library”) occupies space in the Community Complex. Perth South agrees that the Library shall be permitted to continue such occupation and use during the term of this Agreement subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement entered into between South Huron and the Huron County Library Board attached hereto as Schedule “B” (the “Library Agreement”).

  • Research Use The Requester agrees that if access is approved, (1) the PI named in the DAR and (2) those named in the “Senior/Key Person Profile” section of the DAR, including the Information Technology Director and any trainee, employee, or contractor1 working on the proposed research project under the direct oversight of these individuals, shall become Approved Users of the requested dataset(s). Research use will occur solely in connection with the approved research project described in the DAR, which includes a 1-2 paragraph description of the proposed research (i.e., a Research Use Statement). Investigators interested in using Cloud Computing for data storage and analysis must request permission to use Cloud Computing in the DAR and identify the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) or providers and/or Private Cloud System (PCS) that they propose to use. They must also submit a Cloud Computing Use Statement as part of the DAR that describes the type of service and how it will be used to carry out the proposed research as described in the Research Use Statement. If the Approved Users plan to collaborate with investigators outside the Requester, the investigators at each external site must submit an independent DAR using the same project title and Research Use Statement, and if using the cloud, Cloud Computing Use Statement. New uses of these data outside those described in the DAR will require submission of a new DAR; modifications to the research project will require submission of an amendment to this application (e.g., adding or deleting Requester Collaborators from the Requester, adding datasets to an approved project). Access to the requested dataset(s) is granted for a period of one (1) year, with the option to renew access or close-out a project at the end of that year. Submitting Investigator(s), or their collaborators, who provided the data or samples used to generate controlled-access datasets subject to the NIH GDS Policy and who have Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval and who meet any other study specific terms of access, are exempt from the limitation on the scope of the research use as defined in the DAR.
