Licence requirements Clause Samples

The 'Licence requirements' clause sets out the conditions under which a party is permitted to use certain intellectual property, products, or services. Typically, it details the scope of the licence, such as whether it is exclusive or non-exclusive, the permitted uses, any territorial or time limitations, and any obligations the licensee must fulfill, like paying fees or maintaining confidentiality. This clause ensures that both parties clearly understand the boundaries and obligations of the licence, thereby reducing the risk of misuse or infringement and providing legal certainty.
