LICENSE TYPE AND SCOPE OF LICENSE Sample Clauses

The "License Type and Scope of License" clause defines the specific rights granted to the licensee regarding the use of licensed material, such as software, intellectual property, or content. It typically outlines whether the license is exclusive or non-exclusive, the permitted uses (such as commercial or personal), geographic limitations, and any restrictions on copying, modifying, or distributing the material. By clearly delineating what the licensee can and cannot do, this clause ensures both parties understand the boundaries of use, thereby preventing disputes and protecting the licensor’s rights.
