Common use of LIE DETECTOR TEST Clause in Contracts

LIE DETECTOR TEST. The employer shall be allowed to require an employee to take a polygraph or any other form of lie detector test or exam, provided that the employee be given the opportunity to have another individual of his/her choosing to review the questions to be asked. The employer shall have sufficient cause to require the employee to take a polygraph or other form of lie detector test or exam. The test shall cover the incident under investigation. A copy • of the questions shall be furnished the employee prior to examination by the polygraph operator. Failure to take the polygraph examination will result in a disciplinary action.
