Lighting and Small Power. The following Lighting and Small Power works is applicable but not limited to: The illumination levels used are those recommended by 240-55714363: Coal Fired Power Stations Lighting and Small Power Installation Standard and SANS 10114-1: Interior lighting. a. These recommendations are specified as law under the South African National Building Regulations. b. Emergency lighting shall be according to 240-55714363: Coal Fired Power Stations Lighting And Small Power Installation Standard and SANS 10114-1: Interior lighting. c. The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act) specifies minimum illumination levels for safety. At no time shall the illumination level fall below these recommendations.

All electrical cabling is to be provided for the entire installation as a take-out option. An agreement will be entered into with the successful bidder for the pricing of the outstanding cabling.
