Load Balancing. The Full-Time Instructional Faculty contract load is 30 LHE over the academic year. Typically, the LHE are evenly split between the fall and spring semesters, but by mutual agreement with the Unit member and the ▇▇▇▇/Area Manager, the load may be balanced between the spring and fall semesters. Part-Time Instructional Faculty load distribution and balance shall be deferred to the Office of Human Resources. The agreement must be in place for the full academic year determining the load split at the beginning of the academic year. Faculty will be paid their full salary with any additional overload paid in the spring semester.
