Local Area. 1. If you are temporarily assigned to a work headquarters and the distance is such that you can commute daily from your home (within a thirty mile radius of your permanent headquarters), you will be paid actual travel time and mileage roundtrip. 2. If you live closer to the temporary headquarters than your permanent headquarters, you will not be paid travel time or mileage since you are already benefiting from the reduction in your normal commute.
