Local Ordinance Clause Samples

The Local Ordinance clause establishes that the parties must comply with all applicable local laws, regulations, and municipal codes relevant to the agreement. In practice, this means that any activities, operations, or obligations under the contract must adhere to city or county rules, such as zoning requirements, building permits, or health and safety standards. This clause ensures that the contract does not inadvertently require or permit actions that would violate local legal requirements, thereby reducing the risk of legal penalties or project delays.
