The Local Purchases clause defines the rules and procedures for acquiring goods or services from suppliers within a specific geographic area, typically the country or region where the contract is being performed. This clause may specify requirements such as prioritizing local vendors, adhering to local content thresholds, or following certain procurement processes to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. Local Purchases. The FSMC shall allow 10 percent (10%) of food budget for local farm to school purchases. In those instances, the FSMC may apply a geographic preference when procuring unprocessed locally grown or locally raised agricultural products in accordance with The Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (P.L. 110-246).

Local Purchases. To the greatest extent possible, Company and its contractors and subcontractors shall make every reasonable effort to purchase materials associated with the Project that may qualify as a Taxable Item from a supplier or vendor having a sales tax location situated within the City's corporate limits.

  • Additional Purchases Stockholder agrees that any shares of capital stock of the Company that Stockholder purchases or with respect to which Stockholder otherwise acquires beneficial ownership after the execution of this Agreement and prior to the Expiration Date ("New Shares") shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement to the same extent as if they constituted Shares.
