Common use of Local Union Observer Clause in Contracts

Local Union Observer. ‌ The President of the Union or his/her designate may, upon an applicant's request, sit as an observer during the interview of internal candidates for positions posted within the bargaining unit. The union observer shall not be an employee of the Town of Gibsons. The costs of wages and expenses of the observer shall be borne by the Union.
