Common use of Local Unit Representatives Clause in Contracts

Local Unit Representatives. The Association shall have the right to select local unit representatives from among nurses in the unit. The local unit representatives shall not be recognized by the Hospital until the Association has given the Hospital written notice of the selection. Unless otherwise agreed to by the Hospital the investigation of grievances and other Association business shall be conducted only during nonworking times, and shall not disturb patients or visitors or interfere with the work of nurses or other employees.
