Locality Allowances. 2.7.1 Locality allowances are payable to eligible employees in accordance with the Ministerial Directive 19/99 (Locality Allowances) issued in accordance with section 54 of the Public Service Act 2008. 2.7.2 The rates prescribed by the Ministerial Directive 19/99 (Locality Allowances) are increased by 5.5% from 1 January 1997 for all centres other than those in coastal local Government areas as at that date and listed in Appendix 1 of this Agreement.

  • INJURY ALLOWANCE 34.01 An employee injured on the job shall be paid for the balance of his or her shift on which the injury occurred if, as a result of such an injury, the employee is sent home by the Employer or is sent to an outside hospital and doctor at such hospital or the employee’s own doctor certifies that the employee should not return to work.
