Longevity Supplement Clause Samples
A Longevity Supplement clause provides for additional payments or benefits if a covered individual lives beyond a specified age or period. Typically, this clause is found in insurance or pension agreements, where it triggers supplemental payouts once the original benefit period ends or a certain longevity milestone is reached. Its core function is to protect individuals from outliving their financial resources, ensuring continued support in the event of an unexpectedly long lifespan.
Longevity Supplement a. Each unit member shall become eligible to receive an annual longevity supplement of $1,500 upon completion of five (5) years of service as an administrator and/or supervisor in MCPS.
b. Each unit member shall become eligible to receive an additional annual longevity supplement of $1,500 upon completion of ten (10) years of service as an administrator and/or supervisor in MCPS.
c. Each unit member shall become eligible to receive an additional annual longevity supplement of $1,500 upon completion of fifteen (15) years of service as an administrator and/or supervisor in MCPS.
d. Each unit member shall become eligible to receive an additional annual longevity supplement of $1,500 upon completion of twenty (20) years of service as an administrator and/or super- visor in MCPS.
e. Longevity increases are effective on the first day of the pay period that contains the date of eligibility.
Longevity Supplement. Each employee will receive a longevity supplement to the hourly pay rate of five ($.05) cents per hour, per year of service with the City of Mount ▇▇▇▇▇▇, to be paid beginning with the completion of the fifth (5th) year of employment. (Example: Beginning the sixth (6th) year of service, a member would receive twenty five cents ($.25) per hour, and at the completion of each successive year, the member would receive an additional five cents ($.05)).
Longevity Supplement. Effective January 1, 2018, bargaining unit employees shall be eligible for a longevity supplement to their hourly rate of pay based upon their continuous years of service with the Mahoning County General Health District as follows: Completed Years of Continuous Service Amount/Hour 7-9 $.16 10-15 $.32 16-20 $.48 21-25 $.64 26-30 $.80 31+ $1.00 “Continuous service” shall be broken by resignation, retirement, termination of employment, and any absence without leave in excess of three (3) days.
Longevity Supplement. An employee shall be entitled to additional compensation for longevity after five (5) years of continuous service with the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Township Public Works Department from the date of his last hiring. Beginning with the sixth year of his continuous service and cumulatively for each year of continuous service thereafter, he shall receive an annual wage supplement of Sixty Dollars ($60.00). Wage supplements for longevity shall become effective on April 1st of each calendar year. Employees who attain six (6) years or more of continuous service during the calendar year shall receive the appropriate longevity increase beginning April 1st of that calendar year.
Longevity Supplement. In addition to the above wages, a longevity supplement will be paid 13 according to the scale below. Such longevity supplement shall become effective the first full pay 14 period following the required years of service. Longevity supplement shall be included in the base 15 salary for the purpose of the calculation of overtime:

Longevity Supplement. The Board shall annually pay the Superintendent the Longevity Supplement indicated on the Administrative Salary Schedule for Charlotte County School District administrators.
Longevity Supplement. A longevity supplement for service to the district will be paid in the amount equal to one and a half (1½) percent of employee’s base salary. Such payment shall be made annually at the request of the employee, less applicable withholding.
