Loss Caused by Change of Temperature Clause Samples

The 'Loss Caused by Change of Temperature' clause defines the allocation of responsibility for damages or losses resulting from temperature fluctuations during the handling, storage, or transportation of goods. Typically, this clause specifies whether the carrier, warehouse operator, or another party is liable if goods are spoiled, degraded, or otherwise affected due to changes in temperature, unless such changes are due to their negligence or failure to follow agreed procedures. Its core function is to clarify liability and reduce disputes by explicitly stating who bears the risk of temperature-related losses, thereby ensuring all parties understand their obligations and the limits of their responsibility.
