Common use of Loss of Preparation Time Clause in Contracts

Loss of Preparation Time. An employee shall not be asked to assume the responsibility for another 37 employee’s class during his/her preparation time, except in unforeseen emergencies, or when, 38 because of time limitations, arrangement for regular substitutes cannot be made. In the event an 39 employee is requested by a District Administrator and accepts the responsibility for another 40 employee’s class, the employee so affected shall be paid per diem for the actual time covered.
