Loss of Preparation Time. Employees shall not be asked to assume the responsibility for another 42 employee's classes during his/her preparation time, except in unforeseen emergencies, or because of 43 time limitations, arrangements for regular substitutes cannot be made. In the event the District 44 experiences an emergency that would require the scheduling away of plan time the employee so 45 affected shall be paid an additional stipend equal to a proration of the employee's base salary. 47 Variations may occur to meet local building needs and situations, including staff meetings and alteration 48 of the student day or schedule.
