Low Flow Sample Clauses

The Low Flow clause defines the minimum acceptable flow rate or volume for a particular process, system, or equipment. In practice, this clause sets a threshold below which the flow—such as water, gas, or another fluid—must not fall, and may specify actions to be taken if the flow drops below this level, such as triggering alarms or requiring corrective measures. Its core function is to ensure operational reliability and safety by preventing damage, inefficiency, or hazards that can result from insufficient flow.
Low Flow. If Gas is taken at a Delivery Point at rates less than the then-current Minimum Design Flow Rate to the extent that, in First Gas’ reasonable opinion, the Accuracy of the metered quantities at that Delivery Point is adversely affected, First Gas shall notify the Interconnected Party accordingly. Unless the Interconnected Party can reasonably demonstrate to First Gas that those low Gas takes occurred during plant start-up and shut-down or were extraordinary occurrences and are unlikely to occur again, or that the Metering is Accurate even at those low Gas take rates, First Gas may: if the Interconnected Party is the Metering Owner, require the Interconnected Party at its cost to modify the Metering to improve the Accuracy of the metered quantities at low flow rates, and: the Interconnected Party shall then implement appropriate modifications as soon as practicable; and during the time required to modify the Metering, First Gas shall be entitled to suspend the Interconnected Party’s right to take Gas at that Delivery Point; or if First Gas is the Metering Owner: notify the Interconnected Party that it intends to modify the Metering to improve the Accuracy of metered quantities at low flow rates; and require the Interconnected Party to pay First Gas’ actual and reasonable costs to implement those modifications (reasonable evidence of which First Gas shall provide to the Interconnected Party), including via the payment of an Interconnection Fee or an increase in the current Interconnection Fee. Outage Notification The Interconnected Party shall as soon as reasonably practicable notify First Gas of any scheduled or unscheduled outages (other than outages that are not material) affecting such Interconnected Party in relation to its take of Gas at the Delivery Point. Such notice shall include: whether it is, or is expected to be, a full or partial outage and the likely duration of that outage; for scheduled outages, when such outage is expected to commence; in a reasonable amount of detail, the reason for that outage; and the extent of the expected reduction in the take of Gas. metering and energy quantity reports Metering Required Except where First Gas has elected otherwise pursuant to section 5.2 of the Code, the Metering Owner will install Metering in respect of Delivery Points as set out in ICA Schedule One and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that it operates at all times. The Metering Owner is to ensure that the design, construction, installation, opera...
Low Flow. If Gas is injected at a Receipt Point at rates less than the then-current Minimum Design Flow Rate to the extent that, in First Gas’ reasonable opinion, the Accuracy of the metered quantities at that Receipt Point is adversely affected, First Gas shall notify the Interconnected Party accordingly. Unless the Interconnected Party can reasonably demonstrate to First Gas that those low Gas injection rates occurred during plant start-up and shut-down or were extraordinary occurrences and are unlikely to occur again, or that the Metering is Accurate even at those low Gas injection rates, First Gas may require the Interconnected Party at its cost to modify the Metering to improve the Accuracy of metered quantities at low flow rates, and: the Interconnected Party shall then implement appropriate modifications as soon as practicable; and during the time required to modify the Metering, First Gas shall be entitled to suspend the Interconnected Party’s right to inject Gas at that Receipt Point.
Low Flow. If Gas is taken at a Delivery Point at rates less than the then-current Minimum Design Flow Rate to the extent that, in First Gas’ reasonable opinion, the Accuracy of the energymetered quantities taken at that Delivery Point is compromisedunduly affected, First Gas shall notify the Interconnected Party accordingly. Following notification pursuant to section 2.11, unlessUnless the Interconnected Party can reasonably demonstrate to First Gas that those low Gas takes were extraordinary occurrences thatand are not expectedunlikely to occur to the same extent again, First Gas may: notify the Interconnected Party that it intends to modify the Metering to ensure it is Accurateimprove the Accuracy of metered quantities at those low flow rates; and require the Interconnected Party to pay First Gas’ actual and reasonable costs to implement thethose modifications (reasonable evidence of which First Gas shall provide to the Interconnected Party), including via an Interconnection Fee or an increase in the current Interconnection Fee. metering and energy quantity reports Metering Required First Gas will install Metering as set out in Schedule One and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that it operates at all times. Direct Gas Measurement Only Metering shall determine Gas quantities by direct measurement only and not by difference or by other indirect means. Testing of Metering and Provision of Information First Gas shall use reasonable endeavours, including by means of periodic testing in accordance with the Metering Requirements, to ensure that Metering is Accurate. The Interconnected Party may request, and First Gas shall then provide: reasonable technical information relating to the Metering at a Delivery Point; a copy of First Gas’ planned maintenance schedules relating to any Metering; and the results of any testing of any Metering. In relation to any new Metering, First Gas will: no earlier than 3 Months before that Metering is placed into service, test each custody transfer meter and other gas measurement device forming part of that Metering; and where the Metering includes a verification meter, conduct an in-situ verification test of each custody transfer meter as soon as practicable after that Metering is placed into service, to ensure that the Metering is Accurate. If the Metering is found to be Inaccurate, First Gas will service, repair, re-calibrate or replace it, then re-test it to establish that it is Accurate. First Gas will provide the Interconnected Pa...
Low Flow. (a) Only systems with both of the following conditions must meet the low flow performance criteria in (b) and (c), below. 1. Systems that impound water for purposes in addition to temporary detention storage. Water impounded longer than a 14-day bleed down period is considered conservation storage for benefits other than detention storage (i.e., recreation, irrigation, etc.). 2. Systems that impound a stream or other watercourse which, under pre-development conditions, discharged surface water off-site to receiving water during 5-year, 30- day drought frequency conditions.
Low Flow. If Gas is injected at a Receipt Point at rates less than the then-current Minimum Design Flow Rate to the extent that, in First Gas’ reasonable opinion, the Accuracy of the metered quantities at that Receipt Point is undulyadversely affected, First Gas shall notify the Interconnected Party accordingly. Unless the Interconnected Party can reasonably demonstrate to First Gas that those low Gas injection rates occurred during plant start-up and shut-down or were extraordinary occurrences and are unlikely to occur again, or that the Metering is Accurate even at those low Gas injection rates, First Gas may require the Interconnected Party at its cost to modify the Metering to improve the Accuracy of metered quantities at low flow rates, and:
Low Flow. If Gas is injected at a Receipt Point at rates less than the Minimum Design Flow Rate to the extent that, in First Gas’ reasonable opinion, the Accuracy of the energy quantities injected at that Receipt Point is compromised, First Gas shall notify the Interconnected Party accordingly. Following notification pursuant to section 2.11, unless the Interconnected Party can reasonably demonstrate to First Gas that those low Gas injection rates were extraordinary occurrences that are not expected to occur to the same extent again, and/or that the Metering is Accurate even at those low flows: First Gas may give notice to the Interconnected Party requiring that it modify the Metering to ensure it is Accurate at those low flow rates; and the Interconnected Party shall then implement appropriate modifications at its cost as soon as practicable; and during the time required to modify the Metering First Gas’ shall be entitled to suspend the Interconnected Party’s right to inject Gas at that Receipt Point. metering and energy quantity reports Metering Required The Metering Owner shall install Metering as set out in Schedule One and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that it operates at all times.
