Common use of Lower Job- Continuous Clause in Contracts

Lower Job- Continuous. Employees changed from a higher job title to a lower job title shall have their rate of pay reduced to that of the lower job title at the same position on the applicable wage guide. In the event the employee is reclassified to a position which the employee formerly held; the employee's wage shall be no less than the same progression step in that schedule to which the employee had previously progressed.
