MAJOR CONTRACT GOALS. The Department is contracting with the Managing Entity, pursuant to s. 394.9082, F.S., to plan, coordinate, and subcontract for the delivery of community mental health and substance abuse services; to improve access to care and promote service continuity; and to support efficient and effective delivery of services.

MAJOR CONTRACT GOALS. The major goals of this contract is to: Enhance Child Welfare trainer skills through the development and maintenance of a standardized statewide Child Welfare Trainer Proficiency Training Program. Through the implementation of this program, Child Welfare Trainers will receive standardized training to enhance their knowledge and skills when presenting the Child Welfare training curricula. With the development of a training and tracking system this contract will ensure that all trainers teaching Child Welfare curricula are qualified to teach, knowledgeable of the content and up to date with current laws, policies and practice. Maintain a sufficient pool of trained, skilled and qualified Child Welfare trainers through the establishment of the Trainer Proficiency Program tracking system.
MAJOR CONTRACT GOALS. The purpose of the CRS Program is to assist refugee/entrant families in achieving self-sufficiency, effective resettlement, and successful integration into the local community.
MAJOR CONTRACT GOALS. The major goal of this service is to provide an evaluation of the seven Enhanced Prevention Services for Child Welfare Clients contracts. This evaluation shall: B-2.1 Determine whether the activities and interventions have the desired impact on outcomes for each contract; B-2.2 Determine if engagement strategies are effective; B-2.3 Determine if there have been any behavior changes in the participants; B-2.4 Determine if families who successfully completed the programs have had additional involvement with child welfare services; B-2.5 Determine characteristics of families associated with different programmatic outcomes; B-2.6 Determine length of time of service provision associated with outcomes; and B-2.7 Evaluate the Family Satisfaction Questionnaire, completed by families served, to assess changes in knowledge, attitude(s), behaviors, and/or conditions as they relate to enhanced protective factors.

Enhance and/or expand existing CDP that is specific to the individuals served with defined resources aligned to meet the needs of the target population to be served. B.2.2. Reduce substance use, mental instability, and related criminal activity. B.2.3. Provide intensive supervision and case management to ensure participants comply with individual treatment and ancillary service needs. B.2.4. Ensure the provision of treatment services throughout the continuum of care through contracted clinical services providers inclusive of medical physicians, psychiatrists, licensed clinicians, certified counselors, certified peers, and registered interns. B.2.5. Provide participants with essential services such as treatment, medication, basic needs, and living skills that can address the underlying causes of criminal behavior. B.2.6. Enhance community safety. B.2.7. Reduce reliance on incarceration. B.2.8. Hold participants accountable for their choices/actions. B.2.9. Integrate substance abuse and mental health treatment with criminal justice case processing. B.2.10. Reduce the impact of drug and mental health disorder related cases on criminal justice resources. B.2.11. Provide an array of intensive mental health services to seriously mentally ill adults to lessen or eliminate the debilitating symptoms of mental illness that the individual experiences, prevent recurrent acute episodes of the illness, promote recovery, reduce hospitalization, increase days in the community, and improve interactions in adult social and employment roles and responsibilities. B.2.12. Reward positive life changes and milestone accomplishments while maintaining accountability for negative conduct and lack of progress. B.2.13. Conduct periodic reviews of program policies and practices to ensure continued fidelity to the model and adherence to best practices. B.2.14. Provide resources and support to assist the participant with the skills necessary for the maintenance of sobriety/stability. B.2.15. Reduce recidivism and relapse rates.
MAJOR CONTRACT GOALS. The major goals of child care licensing are to ensure compliance with child care licensing standards and to improve the quality of care, in order to protect the health, safety, and well-being of children of the state and to promote their emotional and intellectual development and care.
