Common use of Management and Direction Clause in Contracts

Management and Direction. The Union recognizes the right of the Board to operate and manage its operations in accordance with its commitments and responsibilities, and to make and alter from time to time rules and regulations to be observed by employees, which rules and regulations shall not be contrary to any provisions of this Agreement. The Board shall exercise its rights in a fair and just manner. Such rules and regulations, or amendments, shall be communicated in writing to the Union.
