MANAGEMENT PREROGATIVES. The Union acknowledges that the Board has the responsibility and authority to manage and direct, on behalf of the public, all of the operations and activities of the School District to the full extent provided by law, limited only by the lawful provisions of this Agreement, including, but not limited to, such areas of discretion or inherent managerial policy as the functions of the Board, standards of service, the overall budget, the organizational structure, the selection of new teachers and the direction and assignment of teachers.
