Common use of Mandatory Activities Clause in Contracts

Mandatory Activities. Where an Employee's successful completion of a professional development activity - including orientation - is a mandatory requirement of the College, the College shall pay any tuition costs associated with the participation of the Employee in the activity. The Employee shall not suffer loss of pay or health and welfare benefits provided in accordance with Article 42: Health and Welfare Benefits when participating in the required activity.
