Mandatory Commitment Reduction Sample Clauses
A Mandatory Commitment Reduction clause requires the reduction of a lender's or investor's commitment to provide funds under a financing agreement, typically upon the occurrence of certain specified events. This clause may be triggered by events such as prepayments, asset sales, or regulatory changes, and it automatically decreases the amount of undrawn or available credit. Its core practical function is to manage and limit the lender's exposure by ensuring that the total commitment aligns with the borrower's changing circumstances or compliance requirements.
