Mandatory Redemption of the Notes Clause Samples

The Mandatory Redemption of the Notes clause requires the issuer to repurchase or repay the outstanding notes from noteholders before their scheduled maturity date under specified conditions. Typically, this clause outlines the circumstances that trigger redemption, such as the occurrence of certain events or the passage of a set period, and details the price or formula used to determine the redemption amount. Its core practical function is to provide certainty and protection to noteholders by ensuring they will receive repayment in specific situations, thereby managing risk and clarifying the issuer’s obligations.
