Common use of MCC Status Clause in Contracts

MCC Status. MCA-Vanuatu recognizes and agrees that MCC is a United States government corporation acting on behalf of the United States Government in the implementation of the Compact. As such, MCC has no liability under this Agreement, is immune from any action or proceeding arising under or relating to this Agreement and MCA-Vanuatu hereby waives and releases all claims related to any such liability. In matters arising under or relating to this Agreement, MCC shall not be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts or other body of Vanuatu or any other jurisdiction.
